SEM Hosts first Tongji-Manchester Come Together Party and New Year Buffet

First Tongji-Manchester Come Together Party and New Year Buffet was held in Tongji-Days Hotel on the evening of 16 January.Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM, Ms. WU Boning, Director of the Programme, Dr. WANG Xiaobo, Academic Director of the Programme and other SEM staff got together with the students to celebrate the new year. Mr. Nigel BANISTER, CEO of Manchester Business School (MBS), Ms. Sharon WILDING, Operation Director of MBS, Ms. Sherry FU, Director of MBS China Center and some MBS Financial MBA students were also invited to the party.
The students presented a variety of performances including Chinese traditional instruments playing, singing, and dancing. The interactive games and lucky draw brought the warm atmosphere to a climax. The party created a wonderful platform to promote mutual understanding and communication between the students.
In addition, Prof. Jeffery RAMSBOTTOM and Pikay RICHARDSON from MBS delivered the workshop “Global Events and Leadership” and interacted with the students.
The Tongji-Manchester MBA dual degree programme was officially launched in September 2009.
