SEM holds Orientation for Parents of New Undergraduates

On 4th of Sept.,2010, Orientation for parents of newly enrolled Chinese undergraduates was successfully held.
Prof. Xiaoma Tao, Deputy Dean of SEM extended on behalf of SEM warm welcome and sincere appreciations to the parents. A introduction of SEM follows, detailing our school’s structure of scientific disciplines, programs set-up and international exchange programs. Dr. Ruijie Wang, Vice Director of SEM exchanged opinions with parents about how parents could help educate and guide students during their university period, and gave a further introduction on student affairs as studying aboard, program characteristics, psychological health and future career. He also proposed many valuable suggestions and expectations on students’ university life, future study, and personal life development.
