On Oct. 17^th 2010, Tongji SEM Delegation led by Prof. Guangbin WANG, Vice Dean of SEM, attended the Forum of 20-year Chinese MBA Education held in Beijing. Prof. Guangbin WANG made a spectacular speech on the theme of “Internationalization of Tongji MBA Education”, and was interviewed by journalists from CCTV 4.

 

Deans from domestic universities, well-known entrepreneurs and more than twenty high-tech dominating media attended this forum. The forum focuses on the topic of “20 years of MBA Education—Looking back, considering change, and making prospect”. Guest speakers elaborated respectively on the key words including “market orientation”, “internationalization” during the 20 years of MBA Education Development and heated discussions followed in regard with the MBA renovation trend of the recent two years. At last, the guests proposed anticipation and requirements regarding the development of MBA Education in the next two decades.

 

Prof. Guangbin WANG summarized Tongji’s understanding of internationalization, extended his wishes that the internationalization of Tongji MBA Program could find a way which combines the Chinese practical reality, combines the requests of Chinese economic development and solves the problems in China. The nature of the development of Tongji’s MBA program should be differentiation and localization. Only in this way could we better promote the development of the Internationalization of Tongji University as well as MBA education.
