Associate Dean of Grenoble Ecole de Management Visits SEM

On Jul 29, 2011, Prof. Loick Roche, Associate Director and Vice-Dean for Academics Research and Faculty, Mr. Mark Thomas, Director of International Affairs, Ms. Amy XU, China Office Manager of Grenoble Ecole De Management, France visited our school. Prof. Jiazhen Huo, Dean of SEM, and Prof. Song Chen, Deputy Dean of SEM met with the guests. Both parties expressed strong interests in potential collaboration of scientific research in the field of technology management and innovation.

The collaboration between Grenoble Ecole De Management, France and SEM, Tongji University has established partnership for 9 years in the fields of double Master’s Degree, joint DBA program and faculty exchange. The joint DBA program, which was awarded the AMBA accreditation in December, 2007, was the first DBA program in China to be awarded the international accreditation.

Founded in 1984, the school is located in the French Silicon Valley, the city of Grenoble, which helps build its close relationship with many high-tech trans-national corporations such as IBM, HP, and Schneider, etc. Therefore, Grenoble Ecole de Management has developed a unique expertise in Technology Management and Innovation. Grenoble Ecole de Management is one of only a few business schools worldwide to hold the triple accreditation crown.
