On the 30th of May, School of Economics and Management, Tongji University signed a strategy agreement with Yangpu (an administrative district in Shanghai) Federation of Industry and Commerce in Tongji Building Block A. The launching ceremony of series lectures on Business Administration featuring “Share the Same Goal to Develop Jointly”. The event is co-hosted by SEM and Yangpu Federation of Industry and Commerce, and organized by SEM’s Executive Development Program (EDP) center.

 

The ceremony is hosted by Prof. HAN Chuanfeng, Deputy Dean of SEM. Mr. JIN Xingming, Director of Yangpu District and other leaders from the district joined the ceremony together with Prof. JIANG Fuming, Vice President of Tongji University, and Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM. In addition, leaders from Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, Jiangsu Province Chamber of Commerce were also present at the event with more than 200 executives from large-scale companies.

 

Prof. JIANG Fuming, Vice President of Tongji University, extended his warm welcome to all the guests on behalf of our university. “Innovative Talents Training Base” was also launched during the ceremony. The base is co-established by Yangpu Federation of Industry and Commerce and SEM, aiming to further implement the ideology of “Combine 3 Districts to Development Jointly”. It is expected to improve the management level and innovative capability of privately owned companies in Yangpu District.
