On 23rd April, Prof. QIU Jianliang, Dean of the College of Business and Management Tamkang University, paid a visit to SEM and was received by Prof. CHEN Shouming, Deputy Dean of SEM and Dr. LI Yong, Deputy Chair of Department of Economics and Finance.

During their meeting, Prof. CHEN Shouming briefed on SEM’s faculty and students, as well as the general setting of major subjects.Meanwhile, Prof. QIU Jianliang gave a brief introduction of the overall development of the College of Business and Management. They also discussed further exchange programs among students and faculty and scientific cooperation and research, on the basis of those that had been in progress.

Tamkang University’s “Triple Objectives of Education”, which include globalization, information-oriented education, and future-oriented education, were established by the Founder of Tamkang University, Dr. Clement C. P. Chang. Dr. Chang states that “since TKU’s founding, these Triple Objectives have formed the primary direction for TKU development”. TKU’s ultimate goal is to serve the broader community by providing its graduates with cross-disciplinary knowledge and international perspectives.
