W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, Visits Tongji SEM

 On the 18th of September 2013, Prof. Ajay Vinze, Associate Dean of W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, visited Tongji SEM. Prof. Dr. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM, together with staffs from International Cooperation Office of SEM, met with the guests. The two parties introduced their history, development, and shared with each other the latest international programs and development of the two business schools. Potential collaboration on 3+2 program of Business Analytics and double degree program between SEM and School of Sustainability, have been deeply explored during the meeting. In addition, both parties expressed strong willingness to promote joint faculty research, student exchange, and summer school program.

 

 

Arizona State University is the biggest and youngest comprehensive university in the US. W.P. Carey School of Business is one of the biggest US business schools, with 250 professors, 8300 undergraduates and 1500 postgraduates. The school boasts many world’s first class scholars including 2 Nobel Prize Laureates. Its supply chain management and information management system are among the top 10 in the US. According to latest US News and World Report program ranking, its undergraduate program is ranked the 24th; MBA full-time program is ranked the 30th in the US.
