Welcome Ceremony held for 2014 SEM Undergraduates

On the 10^th of September, a welcome ceremony was held for more than 314 undergraduate students at Yuntong Building. Prof. HUO Jiazhen, Dean of SEM, Prof. JIN Fu’an, Senior Deputy Dean of SEM, Prof. HAN Chuanfeng and Prof. RUAN Qingsong, Deputy Deans of SEM, faculty of Student Affairs Department and Academic Affairs Department attend the ceremony hosted by Prof. TAO Jianlan, Deputy Dean of SEM.

Prof. HUO, on behalf of SEM, first warmly welcomed the students and introduced the development and features of SEM. He also gave a further introduction on student affairs as studying aboard, program characteristics, psychological health and future career. He also proposed many valuable suggestions and expectations on students’ university life, future study, and personal life development. He addressed on the ceremony to encourage the undergraduates to be outstanding and cherish the excellent study environment. Sophomore student representative gave his suggestion to the freshmen. Freshman student representative made commitments on the ceremony as well. After the ceremony, SEM attenders and undergraduate students took a group picture in front of Yuntong Building.
