Ms. Della Bradshaw, Business Education Editor of Financial Times, UK Visits Tongji SEM

On the morning of November 12, Ms. Della Bradshaw, Business Education Editor of Financial Times, UK (hereinafter referred as FT) visited Tongji SEM. Prof. CHEN Song, Deputy Dean of SEM, Dr. LI Yibin, Director of EMBA Program and Ms. Yuexian SHOU, Director of International Cooperation Office of SEM, met with the guest and had a very pleasant and informative talk.
 
 
Prof. CHEN introduced SEM’s history, latest development, and its orientation for the future. Currently, SEM has been awarded both AMBA and EQUIS Accreditation and is in the process of AACSB Accreditation. SEM’s Master of Management Program has been ranked 65th in FT’s Global Master Program, 79th in the global EMBA program listing. Ms. Bradshaw was deeply impressed by SEM’s international orientation and she shared information about FT ranking system and how it evaluates business schools. She thinks the vigorous development of Chinese business schools will attract more and more global attentions, and extended her wish on SEM to achieve greater success in the development.
 

As a senior editor of FT, the global mainstream financial media, Ms. Bradshaw established the business education section of FT in 1995 and devised and launched the first FT business school rankings in 1999, which has become the most authoritative ranking system and is one of the most recognized rankings by the global business schools. Before this, she was the Technology Lead Writer for the FT. She has previously lived and taught in Italy, Turkey and Japan.
