On Mar. 26^th 2019, a new round of cross-cultural communication activity was successfully held between Tongji students and new incoming foreign exchange students in Tongji SEM. Featuring campus life and cultural experience, the activity covered traditional Chinese culture, Shanghai cityscape, personal interests, course study and future planning etc.

This activity provided, both Chinese and foreign students, an opportunity and platform of cross-cultural exchange and interaction. It not only helps Chinese students to improve English learning and build cultural confidence, but also enhances foreign students’ perception of Chinese culture and Tongji University. For most foreign participants, it is their first time to visit China. This activity helps Chinese and foreign students made friends with each other and experienced the charm of different cultures.
