Prof. Dajian ZHU Elected to be Member of World Economic Forum-Global Agenda Council

From Nov. 29th to Dec. 2nd 2010, Prof. Dajian ZHU from the Department of Public Administration, SEM participated in the Dubai Global Agenda Summit held by World Economic Forum, during which he has been elected as the member of Global Agenda Council.

The summit is to do research on the current world’s main trend, adventure and and to form corresponding strategies. Prof. Dajian ZHU, who was in group of “Urbanization Agenda“ stresses that urbanization has become the focus of a global issue, and the hope and key issue of the world’s future development lies in urban development and management. Therefore, the integrated urban development strategies need to be launched. The proposals and suggestions put forward during the summit will be submitted to Davos World Economic Forum in early 2011 to be further discussed and implemented by the leaders of government, enterprises and society, etc.
