On the 23rd of December 2012, MBA Shenzhen Class and AVIC Managers Class celebrated 2013 New Year with the theme of “ Hope and Future” in Shenzhen Shanghai Hotel. The invited guests were Mr. LI Zhen, Executive Dean of Tongji Shenzhen Campus, Mr. WU Zhangke, Director of Tongji Shenzhen Alumni Community, and Tongji alumni, who got together to celebrate 2013 New Year with 2011 MBA Cohort and 2012 MBA Cohort.

Party hosts were HANG Xing from 2011 MBA Cohort and CHEN Fei from 2012 MBA Cohort. The party was overwhelmed with wonderful performances. The most popular song in the world of 2012, Gangnan Style, was presented by five boys from 2012 MBA Cohort wearing black suits and black sunglasses. Their dance won lots of applauses. Other performances included folk dance of Dai Minority Ethnic Group, Chinese songs, and short plays, etc.

New Year wishes from Tongji MBA center made Shenzhen students feel like a whole family in spite of the distance. Students meet with each other because of studying in Tongji. With hopes, they struggle to pioneer for their beautiful future altogether, echoing with the theme of that night “Hope and Future”.
