Cooperation Agreement Signed between School of Business, Yonsei University, South Korea and Tongji SEM

On the 16th of January, 2015, Prof. Hyun Han SHIN, Deputy Dean of School of Business, Yonsei University, and Ms. Eui-Gyeong Kim, Director of International Affairs, visited Tongji SEM. Mr. XU Guodong, Director of MBA center and Ms. SHOU Yuexian, Director of International Office, met with the guests. The two parties introduced the development and background of its business school and MBA programs. A MOU and a cooperation agreement on MBA non-degree exchange were signed before this visit. The two business schools begin to send MBA students to the counterpart in fall semester 2015 on free tuition base and credits accreditation.
 
Yonsei University is the second South Korea partnership we have established so far. The first one is with Ewha School of Business, Ewha Womans University. Yonsei University is the oldest private school in South Korea, founded in 1885. Its school of business was established in 1965. According to Eduniversal 2014, Yonsei was ranked the 3rd domestically. Its Corporate MBA program was ranked the 56th on EMBA ranking list by Financial Times 2014. Its full time MBA program was continuously among global top 100 by Economist for three years. School of Business, Yonsei University was the first university in South Korea with three authoritative accreditations by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and KABEA (Korea Association of Business Education Accreditation).
