Corporate Management, and Technology Economics and Management

This programme includes Corporate Management, and Technology Economics and Management. These two majors are sub-disciplines of Business Administration, focusing on research and studies related to modern production and marketing, technology, economy and social development. This programme has professors actively involved with industry and research both domestically and abroad. It not only has trained many outstanding managers, but also has carried out many research projects on decision-making consultation, enterprise planning, and development strategy for the national government, the Shanghai Municipal Government, and enterprises. SEM has established collaborative partnerships with over 70 distinguished business schools and universities in 26 countries for faculty exchanges, scientific research, and student exchange.

We aim to foster students who not only have systematic professional knowledge, but also have a global vision and understand business operation. They can use a foreign language comprehensively and skillfully for research and academic communication. They should grasp the approaches and technologies of modern management, and can do managerial work and theoretical research independently. After graduation, they can work competently at relevant government departments, all kinds of enterprises, or institutions of higher learning and scientific research.
