On the afternoon of November 11, Prof. Julio Urgel, Director of Quality Services Department of EFMD, conducts EQUIS Briefing Visit to the School of Economics and Management (hereinafter referred to as SEM). Prof. Gang PEI, the president of Tongji University, meets with Prof. Urgel to exchange views on the accreditation. Prof. Urgel then attends the following seminars to introduce EQUIS, review and pre-evaluate SEM’s Datasheet and brief on EQUIS Process. Also present in the seminars are dean, vice deans, heads of departments and directors of Professional Degree Centers.

EQUIS is the leading international system of Quality Assessment, Quality Improvement and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions in management and business administration. The fundamental objective of EQUIS is to raise the quality of management education worldwide. This Briefing Visit to SEM is a preliminary eligibility screening to determine whether SEM is eligible to enter the EQUIS accreditation process.
