On the 17th of November, Shanghai Low Carbon Technology and Industrial Development Association was founded. Prof. TAO Xiaoma of SEM Tongji was appointed to be consulting expert of Low Carbon Sub commission.

The Association was organized by Shanghai PRC Scientific Research and Development Institute, and was highly supported by Shanghai Association of Science and Technology. During the afternoon 2012 Top Level Forum on Low Carbon Technology and Industrial Development of China, experts and scholars from universities exchanged their ideas on the development of low carbon industry in China.
