Accounting (Intelligent Accounting)

The Accounting major was selected as a national-level first-class undergraduate program construction site in 2020. Leveraging the regional advantages of the Yangtze River Delta and building upon Tongji University’s academic heritage, it focuses on creating new interdisciplinary features integrating accounting, information technology, and engineering management. The professional training highlights a new model of “Accounting Technology + Intelligent Information + Management,” emphasizing the application of intelligent accounting in practice. Through close cooperation with the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, a top-notch innovative and interdisciplinary talent cultivation model is established, including an “Environmental Science – Accounting Dual Degree” program. Accounting education is conducted with an international perspective, maintaining long-term exchange and cooperation with international accounting organizations like CPA Australia and CIMA, as well as internationally renowned universities. The talent cultivation philosophy is positioned as “International Perspective, Chinese Sentiment, Innovation and Pragmatism, Professional Excellence and High Moral Standards.”

Graduates will possess the potential to become outstanding accountants or engage in accounting research, have the ability for continuous learning, can update their professional knowledge and improve their skills according to new social and economic development requirements while possessing strategic thinking skills, and have an international perspective.
