Curriculum

Semester Arrangement

Our 2.5 year MSc in Global Supply Chain Management (TriContinent) program starts annually on September 1st.

Courses in logistics, supply chain management, management science and engineering, economics & managerial skills
Semester 1 to 3: Coursework and team projects on three continents (Europe, Asia, North America)
Semester 4 & 5: master’s thesis/internship at home university
Degree granted by respective home university

More specifically, the 1st semester takes place at KLU in Hamburg, Germany. In the 2nd semester, the students come back to Tongji University School of Economics and Management in Shanghai, China. The 3rd semester is held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, United States. During the 4th – 5th semester, students will go back to their home universities. Tongji and KLU students will be granted double degrees under the condition that they complete the double degree regulations of both universities.

Practical Sessions

The TriContinent program could offer diverse alumni network, plentiful internship opportunities and other valuable resources to the students. Students could have unique opportunities to experience different cultures and charms of the three continents respectively. In this program, a specific session, i.e. practical session is designed to combine what the students have learned from class with real practices in three continents. Through the field courses like Conducting Business in Europe, Conducting Business in China and Conducting Business in the US, the students could truly experience and explore different company operations and cultures in different continents, which is a great opportunity for students to find out how people from other countries work with professional skills and expertise. The students have visited many world renowned companies as below and more are waiting for you to explore.
