The specialty of Regional Economics draws on the advantages of city planning, engineering management, land development and technological economics in Tongji University. Deeply rooted in the Yangtze River delta whose economy is developing in an increasingly rapid speed, this specialty has solid theoretical foundation as well as good conditions for joint study. It also embraces outstanding characteristics in the research fields of industrial structure planning, agriculture regionalization, township economy planning as well as development and planning of urban economy.
